We our deep into the remodel now and I have started to think about the final look of the boys rooms starting with our oldest room the first thing was to make a design board.
He loves green and he would have everything be green if it was up to him so taking that into account but also not wanting to color drench the room I chooses to accent with blue, cream, and browns.
I wanted a vintage feel while incorporating things he really loves such as Hunting, airplanes, and construction equipment. This room needs to makes his 2 almost three year old self happy and be a place he feels comfortable but still grow with him.

Thus the collage above was formed I wanted to incorporate a wide variety of textures while still feeling like a cohesive room.
We are running the new hardwood through the whole houses and we had already have a fan in storage for each of the boys room so these were things I already new I need to make work in the space.
I also had already picked out paint for most the houses so it could be done before the floor went in. i brought home a hand full of paint chips and my little guy choses Sherman Williams Artichoke 6179. Not my first choice but he loved it and I new we could make it work.
I found a antique Jenny Lind Full size bed on market places which is my favorite place to look for items for the houses. Then we need a Mattress protector With a 2 almost tree year old working on potty training accidents are bound to happen. I Also found an Vintage model airplane on eBay to hang from the celling their are so many on their or Amazon also has multiple options I linked a similar one to the collage.
I had original picked the same Velvet Curtains I have for our master bedroom in Stone blue for light blocking but changed my mind and went with some nice Stone blue Linen Curtains. as my son always likes the son shining in his window in the morning I also plan to add woven shades to the window which will help for when we want to block out light I have linked both options below.
The little decor things like pictures and nick nacks I have been finding a t lard sales or things we had around the houses. The deer antlers were given by his pawpaw and he cant wait to hang them. You could get crafty and make the Name Pendant Flag or buy one of the many options from Esty I linked the one we decided to go with. The Excavator Lamp
