Easter is approaching quickly and before we know it will be at the dollar tree late the night before Easter looking through the ransacked isle to find something. If your helping the Easter Bunny this year your in the right place! I've list a wide variety of items below.
First you need a basket to put everything in. If you have some old baskets in good shape up in the attic or your own old Easter baskets like we did our oldest use my husbands old Easter basket and our youngest use mine, we add custom carrot name tags. If not no worries I have linked a few different options below.

I prefer to buy reusable items that can be used all year or for the holiday again the following year. Any of theses baskets would look cute in a play room or stored away and saved for the Easter bunny to bring next Easter.
Now that we have a basket its time for the exciting part to fill it!
Something Snuggly
A classics Easter bunny is always nice but you could also pick something else that suits your child better like a duck, or even a wale for a religious nod.

I look for stuffed animals that are more on the neutral and will hold up thought some may prefer the brightly colored options that are out there I have just linked a few that are available. My favorite two being Brown bunny with his plaid ears and the Wale.
Something to read
A Classic like Peter Rabbit or a religious option like Jesus Calling: The Story Of Easter that you guys can read together.

1. Jesus Calling: The Story Of Easter
Their are so many different options ranging from sweet little Easter bunny tales to the stories of Jesus resurrections, you cant go wrong with any of them.
Sidewalk chalk
Their are so many different types I really like the cute bunny shaped ones but for littler kids the bigger crayon style ones would be easier for little hands to hold.

I try to include something that encourages outdoor play. Sidewalk chalk is an excellent choice for this. I've provided links to all non-toxic chalk options because if your child is anything like my youngest, who feels the need to put everything in his mouth and try to eat it. Although Google says that a small amount of chalk is harmless, it's always better to be safe.
Toy
There are so many different options for this one; you can choose something related to Easter or something your child is interested.

2. Peter the Rabbit Jack-in-The-Box
I linked a wide age range of items, to offer some inspiration, but their are so many fun things you could put maybe even a couple. We always put a couple packets of seeds then a toy like the Pop Tubes.
Something to Wear
A whole new outfit or just a hat your little one will love this Easter basket addition.

A fun new pair of Sunglasses is what will be in each of my boys baskets this year.
Candy
And it wouldn't be an Easter basket without some candy!

A chocolate bunny is a must, and then some other fun dye-free candy will round out this year's Candy
Extras
Here's some other fun items to throw in.

Now it's time to get to work Easter Bunny!
I hope you are good and inspired and ready to build your littles Basket.
